How to Withdraw Google AdSense Payouts via Maya App (PayMaya)

Aside from wire transfers direct to your local bank accounts in the Philippines and GCash electronic wallet, you can also claim and withdraw your Google AdSense monthly payouts via your Maya App (PayMaya) through its Western Union cash-in facility.

Compared to GCash which lately came with issues on sender’s identity given the unrecognizable business name (which I hope has already been resolved), Maya App (PayMaya) offers but more seamless cash-in transactions. All you need is the Western Union’s10-digit money transfer control number (MTCN). The sender and net amount after fees automatically appear once MTCN is provided. The cash-in transaction takes only seconds. You will see the amount credited to your account right away. Here are the simple steps to follow:

  1. Make sure you have set your Google payment method to Western Union. You can do on the Payments page of your Google Adsense account.
  2. Once the threshold is hit on your monthly payment cycle, you will receive your Western Union payment details and instructions on the 22nd of the month or a bit later. Included is your 10-digit money transfer control number (MTCN). Simply copy the digits.
  3. Open your Maya app (PayMaya). Click Cash In and select Western Union. Paste the copied MTCN digits and review the details to appear. Complete the cash-in transaction.
  4. You will then see the amount credited to your Maya app. You may now use that on the app or send to your local bank account for a fee of PHP15.00.
