In last 10 years I came across so many high paying home based online jobs. In this article I have compiled a list of such high paying home based online jobs.

All of these jobs are absolutely genuine and pay you on a regular basis. It really doesn’t matter what part of the world you live in, whether you are from India or Vietnam or Philippines, anyone can work from home and make money online.

[1] Freelance Writer. As I said earlier I started my freelancing career as a writer. Today freelance writing is one of the most popular ways to make money online.

As a freelance writer you will write articles for various websites. These articles can be simple pieces or well researched journals. You will get paid for each word you write. Usually rates fall anywhere between $.05 and $1 per word.

It depends for the publication or the website you are writing for. If it is a small website then the rates could be between $.02 and $.05 however if it is a big publication then you can get $1 per word.

There are millions of freelance writers all over the world who are making decent money working online from their homes.

There is no dearth of opportunities, you can go to websites like Upwork and Fiverr and find freelance writing work.

[2] Blogging. Second home based online job in the list is blogging. Blogging is very popular among the people who are in the age group 16 years – 35 years.

Many businesses have moved their business online therefore digital marketing companies are always looking for good copywriters who can write advertisements for websites, newspapers and magazines.

If you live in Philippines, you can work as a freelancer for clients in USA, UK, Canada and Australia. Filipino copywriters can easily earn at par with American copywriters. Copywriting job is recession proof and you can work online from the comfort of your home.

[4] Transcription and Data Entry Work. There is a huge demand for freelance transcriptionists from clients based in USA and Europe. As a transcriptionist you listen to audio voice recordings and convert them into written documents. Most of these recordings will either be medical or legal.

The skills required to become a transcriptionist are:

  • Typing Speed at least 40 words per minute
  • Good Listening Skills

[6] Virtual Assistant/Social Media Manager. If you find marketing very difficult then you can try for virtual assistant jobs. Virtual assistants assist their clients and organizations from home via Skype or Zoom. A virtual assistant is responsible for schedule meetings, respond emails and phone calls, manage contact list, keep online records, create presentation, organize calendars etc.

[8] App Developer and Web Developer. If you love coding and programming in languages like PHP, Python, Java etc then you can develop various applications for mobile and desktop platforms. Android app developers are in huge demand.

You can look for job offers on websites like Stackoverflow.com, Fiverr etc.

You also design and develop websites for clients located all over the world. Coding is a high skilled job and you can easily earn $1000 – $3000 monthly.

[9] Internet Researcher. Another high skilled home based job is Internet researcher. You will be asked to perform research like extracting information, gather, sort and analyze data. You could be asked to research about financial markets, economy, geo-politics etc.

If you have analytical and interpretive skills then you can easily earn up to $2500 per month.

[10] Graphic Designer. If you are skilled in Adobe Photoshop, PhotoScape, Photopea or any other graphic design software, you can become a graphic designer.

You will design logos, UI/UX, illustrations, motion graphics and other multimedia content.
